Heavy and extra heavy oil in shallow, unconsolidated reservoirs
-
Trials, technology tests and operations using our ‘Stimulation process for heavy and extra heavy oils’ applied to low performance wells. Non-reactive matrix stimulation, soak period, controlled dose of flow additives, active monitoring of pump rate and efficiency, increased production protocol. The process made the asset gain more than 300% in production rate and kept sustained rates.

-
Production and supply of aromatic production additives and water-based surface demulsifiers to stabilize heavy oil high rate production flow.

-
Non-reactive matrix stimulations and product supply to private operators and private land owners to successfully recover commercial operations of a variety of oil producers using piston reciprocating pumps.
Stimulation of waterflood wells (EOR) for shallow and deeper reservoirs
Non-reactive matrix stimulation in water injection wells to lower wellhead injection pressure. Following a challenge from the environmental agency to close oilfield operations, they requested immediate action on injection pressures to prevent fractures, water contamination or mechanical-safety damage. Performing the stimulation increased injectivity values, substantially lowered wellhead injection pressure and increased injected volumes. The field is currently fully operational.

Oil pit - liquids treatment
Supply of surfactant product for oil pit treatment, to promote phase separation, recover oil in suspension and reinject the water to the reservoir. The product was mixed in the pit and later added in small concentrations to filtrate oil in a second stage to recover oil to flowline and water for reservoir reinjection.
Mid-heavy oil recovery
-
Development, test and production of stimulation additives for mid to heavy oils.
-
Extended core sampling and testing from several reservoirs to obtain higher return on permeability and change in wettability.
-
Non-reactive matrix stimulation on closed low-rate wells to achieve recoveries over 100% based on past production to commercially set fields in operation.

Light oil recovery operations in deep reservoirs (greater than 18.000 feet) in consolidated reservoirs (tight sands) in high pressure-high temperature wells
Recover light oil producers through matrix stimulation and perform reopening protocol with flow additive. Coiled tubing stimulation to 18.000 feet (5.500m) reservoirs to successfully stimulate 28-32°API oil wells in HPHT environment. Successfully recover wells producing less than 1 barrel per day to 400 bopd. Flow additive was dosed through a gas lift line for a few days to stabilize production.
Controlled chemical injection in remnant reserves recovery projects (IOR)
Stimulation of water injection wells to accelerate associated reservoir water reinjection, to increase and recover the rate of oil production. Controlled injection of surfactants and batch injection to recover remaining reserves in place and to stabilize high volumes with lower pressure.

Oil spill response and environmental remediation
-
Development, test and supply of cleaning surfactants to recover oil, fuel and diesel spills in bodies of water and inland in diluted portions to safely clean biological surfaces and fauna.
-
Study and reformulation of biodegradable nonionic surfactants to match alkalinity limits for biologic remediation.
